Over my 6 years of experience, I’ve used a lot of different tools/platforms, some are great, and some are not.
Here are the tools that I mostly use now for my projects. Following these tools can save you time and effort, so you don’t have to try them and then change after some time.
But before we continue, I have compiled a step-by-step “SaaS Launch List Guide — 2025” guide that will provide you with all the necessary steps for getting ideas, validation, marketing, and listing on multiple directories to get more outreach.
#1 Hetzner for cloud provider
I use Hetzner as the main cloud provider. I started with Microsoft Azure as my main cloud provider, with some credits that they provide under the startup program.
I was paying around $7,000 every month for all my servers/compute (Not Including the APIs and Services). While migrating to Hetzner, I cut down my cost by 90% and ended up paying around $1,000 — $1,400 a month.
Here you can see my invoices. In the beginning, yes, it was around $1,700, and this is fine, as it took us some time to further optimize and make our servers perfect for our work.
#2 Brainboard for designing the cloud infrastructure
This is a great tool for your DevOps team to brainstorm on cloud infrastructure.
This can help you and your team build a more efficient cloud infrastructure and understand the flows beforehand.

#3 Simple Attende for employee tracking and attendance management
A free tool that can help you track attendance, payroll, salary, and leaves. This is important because you need to make sure your devs and staff are properly tracked so you can remove and promote the right person at the right time.

#4 Maxim is a great place to manage your AI Agents
If you have a process in your system where you need to make it work with multiple AI Agents in a sequential manner, then this will help you to manage, debug, and optimize your prompts.

#5 Zenscrape for web scraping
In case you have a requirement where you need to scrape the data from different websites, even with Angular, React, or any other JS framework.

#6 Loadmill for APIs load testing
A great tool for you if you don’t want to use Apache JMeter or something like that to test your APIs.

#7 Aikido is a great tool to detect security flows in your code
If you are building an application that holds any sensitive data like bank details or KYC details, then you should try checking this out.
This is also useful if your clients are in government space, where data is the main priority, and you don’t want anyone to hack your system. It can also help you detect the keys or data leaks in your code.

These were some of the tools that you can check once. Please feel free to share any other tools that were useful for you. I would love to check them.
Also, if you want to learn about how to market your SaaS product and want some insights into different strategies and marketing channels, then you might like my second book, “Marketing Strategies to Grow Your SaaS”. This book will help you get your SaaS in the market and get real users for it.
